FOALED IN 2004
We rescued hundreds of pregnant PMU Mares from
Alberta, Canada in the fall of 2003.
It was a massive undertaking. We found homes
for many of the mares and most of their foals, that first year.
These are some of the babies they were carrying at that
time, so they were rescued even before they were born!
There are just a few of these special,
historic horses left! They are being trained and ridden now.
These young horses are for sale. Please contact us for more information and pricing.

Harrison is going well as a trail ride guide horse at
for the guest ranch. He is very willing and does water crossings,
bridges, and so on. He is energetic and very responsive and would
be good for an intermediate to advanced rider. He is still a young
horse. At 15.2 hands, this is a very stout gelding, but not too tall.
$3,000.00 |

HARRISON FJORD Dun and White Gelding THIS GUY IS CUTE, CUTE, CUTE! He should make a great trail prospect or maybe even driving. He was started the spring of 2007. |

Even though Cardinal is a draft cross, he is not a big bodied horse. He has the, nice extra bone but is more standard in size and more refined than most of our crosses. He is great on the trails, goes through water, over bridges, wherever we point him, he'll go. He has been used as a trail guide horse at our guest ranch, but out-walks most of the guest horses and gets a bit impatient waiting for them to catch up. This is a great trail horse, possible endurance, and he is a good horse to go gather cattle on, so he'd be a good ranch horse. The Suffolk crosses are hard to come by, they are on the rare side. Suffolk Punch horses are well-known for their gentle and willing dispositions. $1,200.00 |

CARDINAL $1,200 This should be a nice, solid colt. He looks like a leggy Quarter Horse/Thoroughbred Cross, not so much like a Suffolk. He is very willing and kind and hangs with the most easy going herd. He's very friendly! He'll make a wonderful Trail, Ranch, and Family horse. He would be nice for 4H. He will be around 15.1-15.2 hands high, not too tall. He has been started under saddle and is doing great! He's doing well on trail rides. |

SAWBUCK This colt will mature to be very large and stout, he is already much stouter than his photo shows! He won't be too tall, maybe 15.2 hands high, but is sturdy, short, and compact. He could be a great puller or possibly be used for Jousting or Vaulting. He will be a nice trail horse for a heavier rider. He has been started under saddle.

WELLINGTON This colt has lots of potential for tail or the arena. This cross is a very good one for trails. He is now under saddle and working for us on the cattle ranch and guest trail rides.! This is a very nice, quiet, all
around horse! Would be great for either Western or English. |

SIRES,

"BATTLE RIVER
BRETT" He tends to pass on a bit "warmer" temperament. His offspring can be a bit more challenging at first, but after you work with them they are very intelligent and willing to work. Most have shown the ability to jump anything and everything. His foals have such a lovely trot that at times they appear to be floating in air, they have great suspension! For such a tall stallion, the size of the foals still seems to be determined by the dam. He has several 15.2 hands crosses on the ground, although when crossed with a taller mare the size does come through. His get are in the class we affectionately deemed "Talented and Gifted." |
"KING" We suspect a smidgen of Percheron in this stallion, but are not sure what type of draft breed he really has in his background. He is a smaller, lighter draft type, with Quarter Horse in his background. He is not homozygous for color, but when color does show up, they are usually marked with minimal white (unless the mare is colored) and have the polka dotted white lower legs with black feet. He does pass on good feet and long legs, and throws sporty, stylish foals, regardless of color. He has a medium disposition; the mare's influence usually overrides his. |
"PALO" This sire has a very nice attitude. very gentle, very sweet and kind!
His foals tend to have nice dispositions. He passes on beautiful conformation, time after time. When crossed
with the plainest mare he will throw nice, refined heads, good legs, and
lots of palomino color. A ranch favorite are his Palomino/Belgian Cross foals! They are so sweet and easy they make us all look good. Most of his foals are what we call the ideal "Versatile Horse," as steady as they are sturdy. In the past we have not sold his colts, because they are so
desirable in our operation. This year, we have more of his foals
than usual, and are able to offer some of them for sale. |
"SUMMER ICE" Nice, calm, quiet, gentle, friendly disposition! I have walked out into his band of mares, haltered him and lead him back to the barn away from his mares and his has been a perfect gentleman. A gentleman with his mares, too. His get seem to be calm and quiet, and make nice saddle horses. Summer tends to throw a lot of roan color into his paint foals. |
"NORTHERN DANCER" Quarter Horse with possible Thoroughbred in his background. Sorrel with four white socks. |
"ROSE HILL
ROBBIE" He has a sweet, gentle disposition and tends to pass this on in his foals. Many of our best trail riding horses are of the Belgian cross. They tend to be calmer foals, easier to start, with a slight tendency to be stubborn their first year. The coolest of all our draft crosses, they make wonderful riding as well as driving horses. When crossed with the right mare, a nice dressage or jumper can be the result. Great strong feet! |

"VERN" |
"DOCS PEPOLENA
SAN" Doc O'Lena, Doc Bar, Three Bars, Poco Bueno, Leo, Star Deck, Joe Reed II, King His foals show lots of ability to work cattle and do ranch work. Sit deep in your seat for a fast turn and sliding stop! These colts are quick and not for sissies! His foals are best suited for experienced riders with a western background. They are intelligent, quick to mature and quick to learn! |
