Some of Our Riding Horses at Black Butte Ranch in Sisters, Oregon. Come riding next time you are in the area!

"Calgary" is an example of an adult Spotted Draft/Quarter Horse Cross. He is a very handsome horse and an awesome trail horse! His trot is so smooth it is like sitting on a sofa!

These spotted draft crosses are beauties and they sell fast!

(Calgary is not for sale.)

COLOR! Our horses come in almost every color you could want!

"Henry Fjord" is an example of a Quarter Horse/Belgian/Fjord Cross. He is a large, nice, saddle horse. This rider is over 6' tall, to give you an idea of his size.

We have many Fjord/Quarter Horse Cross weanlings and mares for sale now. They make wonderful trail horses! Most of them are also the desirable dun coloring.

(Henry Fjord is not for sale.)

BREEDS INCLUDE:

Pure and Crossbred Draft Breeds: Belgian, Percheron, Clydesdale, Suffolk Punch, Spotted Draft, and/or Fjord.

Pure and Crossbred Light Breeds: Quarter Horse, Appaloosa, Paint, and/or Thoroughbred.
A few have some Arab or Morgan in their breeding.

Sometimes we even have Ponies for sale!

Quarter Horse bloodlines include Doc Bar, Poco, King, Peppy San, Leo, and Major Bonanza.
Paints are either APHA or Colored Drafts. They come in small, medium, and large sizes.
Paint bloodlines include Dixie's War Drum, Nola Gay, and Wimpy.
Our Fjord horses are crossed with larger breeds, usually Quarter Horse, and will be great for riding.

"Boots" is an example of an adult Quarter Horse PMU. He is 6 years old and a great kids' trail horse.

We do have many Quarter Horse foals and mares for sale now.

(Boots is not for sale.)

The herd sires were carefully chosen for disposition, durability, versatility, and conformation.
We want only horses with solid bone and conformation.
Each breed combination varies, but they are all "Versatile" horses.

This 5 year old is "Spike."
He is an example of an adult Quarter Horse/Belgian Cross, and is a very nice trail horse.

We have several weanlings and mares
of this type of breeding for sale.
You can't beat this cross for trail riding!

(Spike is not for sale.)

Draft Crosses are very sturdy and are usually even-tempered.
They are able to carry larger, heavier riders with ease, and can make very stable trail mounts.
They tend to be tolerant horses, easy to get along with and train.
We use them in the resorts, and they have proven themselves with kids and adults alike.
These Draft/Light Crosses can make fine Warmbloods for use in Dressage, Hunter-Jumper or Eventing.
Quite a few of them have shown the type of movement and disposition desired for these disciplines.

·         All offers for horses will be considered. Most horses have prices listed. When a price is not listed, it is because more work is being done with that horse, with added value,  and we'll need to be contacted regarding an updated price.

·         These horses have been wormed and have had vaccinations. Weanlings are typically unhandled and untrained. As the foals mature, they will be gelded, halter trained, and some will be saddle trained. Prices rise as these valuable services are added.

·         Delivery is available for an additional, reasonable, fee.

·         We accept Visa, Master Card, American Express, and Discover Card, with a 5% service fee.

·         Horses will be marked as RESERVED with a $100 deposit. Back-up offers will be taken on reserved horses, until they are paid. If the person who reserved a horse decides against getting it, the next person in line will be offered the animal. If no one is in line, it will be placed back on available status.

·         Horses marked as SOLD are no longer available.

·         If you have any questions about any of these horses, please call, visit, or email us!
